This consultation is now completed. We were seeking feedback on our proposed budget for 2019/20.
Each year, we develop an annual budget which outlines how we will deliver hundreds of everyday, high quality services and programs.
We sought community feedback in November and December 2018 to help us understand your ideas and priorities as we develop a draft budget for 2019/20.
During this consultation, we received more than 80 online submissions and spoke to about 350 people at our 4 budget pop up sessions across Yarra.
From January to April 2019, we reviewed all the feedback we received from the community and developed the draft 2019/20 budget.
In developing the budget, we’re guided by the goals outlined in our 2017-2021 Council Plan. These goals are:
- A healthy Yarra
- An inclusive Yarra
- A sustainable Yarra
- A liveable Yarra
- A prosperous Yarra
- A connected Yarra
- A leading Yarra
We released the draft 2019/20 budget for submissions in April 2019.
2019/20 Budget adopted
The 2019/20 Council Budget was adopted on 25 June 2019.
